Pursuant to Panamanian
legislation, any product that could affect human health,
save those exceptions recognized by law, must possess a
Health Registration issued by the Ministry of Health of the
Republic of Panama or the Panamanian Department of Food
Safety.
Said Health Registration
consists of an authorization issued by the Ministry of
Health for importing and/or selling a product.
In this regard, products such
as foods, beverages, medicines, cosmetics, cleaning
products, disinfectants and other similar products shall
possess the appropriate registration for manufacture, import
or commerce in the territory of the Republic of Panama.
