TRUSTS
Panamanian trusts are regulated by
Law number 1 of 1984, and are characterized for being flexible and
agile instruments, that allow administration and disposal of assets.
Panama has a very serious and experienced financial center in trusts
administration. For tax and legal purposes, trusts are independent
from the trustee’s assets, which is why constituting a trust helps
protect them; they also offer the trustee the safety that the assets
will be designated to fulfill the objectives of the trust.
Our Law Firm has a very vast
experience in the incorporation of Panamanian Corporations, Private
Interest Foundations, Trusts, among other areas of Corporate Law, as
well as in proceedings required by Corporations, (i.e. Agreements
between shareholders and Board of Directors, Foundational Acts,
mergers, acquisitions, among others).
Our lawyers are experienced in
drafting and issuing bonds and mutual funds, in both local and
international markets. Therefore, they can provide complete
consultancy for those who are interested in Corporate Law related
issues.
